Lisa and her partner Mark moved to Arbor Hills in 2013. They love the neighborhood, all the trees and the closeness to the bike paths and park. She is a retired nurse, having worked inpatient med- surg at UW Hospital and Clinics for 24 years. She has two children and two grandchildren. She wants to give back to her community in her retirement, and she has a particular interest in equity, diversity and anti-racism initiatives. She fills her time with volunteer work and sees serving on the AHNA Board as an opportunity to further her desire to work towards a more cohesive sense of community and justice. She is most happy and energized in service to others.
